So, about Dio. I have been hearing often about him around Black Sabbath videos, but never really liked him though, I'm more of Ozzy era fan. But then , while looking up some classic rock stuff on youtube, simply surfing for some new old stuff to listen to, I come across this. And after hearing some more I fully understand the loss.

Yes! Oh my god am I glad I found you! This is not actually Eyor, but her friend Dylan. I saw your ad about needing a writer for something like Gorillaz, and I NEED AN ARTIST FOR SOMETHING LIKE GORILLAZ!!! Please tell me I haven't reached you too late. I've been searching tirelessly to no avail.

It's called Leviathan, and the story basically follows Invidia, the god of envy, after he is cast out of Hell and into New York City in the year 1989. It's dark (and as you said before, yes, it IS gory), and kind of whimsical at the same time.
