The North of Blutenfeld

The northern lands carry a rich history, particularly for the surviving population of men. Although the men in the south had been mostly taken over by the fierce hordes of Storm Elves or the Rammsvolk, the Northerners had held on pretty well and stoped the empire rushing abroad. The lands are inhabbited by a great variety of beings compared to south. The mountains in the west and the Nebelerde are home to demons, dwarves, amphibians and others. Other than that, dark immortal beings roam throughout the land. The old fortress of Narkemund is said to be home to a family of witches and warlocks and Turmad  has many dark secrets, that are soon to come out. 
Despite the variety of cultures, the land mostly roams in peace these days. In the past the land of Karmesin was plagued by many batles between men and elves, but these days have gone to past and now kingdoms of Morriert and Eralgo are in good terms with each other. Mordau, although, once part of Morriert, is distant from the rest. In Mordau, unlike in Morriert, magic practices are still acceptable and incouraged, unlike in Morriert. It had once set into a conflict, where little blood was shed between the two sides, but it didn't take long for it to settle. In the end both sides refused to fight and agreed on terms, acceptable for both. It is common courtesy of the Mordavians, to be able to avoid conflict.
Although the land rather quiet, it has a long history. It cradled many of the branches of the dark arts and still holds several monuments, where piligimage is held by young conjurers and such. The Council of the Eleven in the old kingdom of Mordau had once taken over all of Karmesin even the western shores and encouraged dark practices. Some say, that these eleven had triggered the end of times, leaving a seal for each to bind the worlds of the living and the dead, to come back for their eternal rule of the land. It is, until the next equinox after a milenia from their deaths.
